Hi all,
I am adding a cross column for all the pages we will have. The different pages will be for all the different topics we are teaching through this blog. I have also created a draft that I will be learning material on.

Hello Team! I wanted to let everyone know I added the "Contributors" section to our blog. I wanted to move the Contributors to a cross-column and it doesn't seem to fit. If anyone can tell me how to fix it let me know. I also updated my profile. Originally I accidentally changed the entire site. 😬 I did manage to restore most of it except for a few minor things having to do with color. 😀 This was before the newer theme was added. All in all, it looks great! Good job everyone!

Shinichi: My Blog Updates & Modifications
I put my blog updating information in the general introduction post. However, here it is in its own post.
I created the blog two weeks ago on February 6 and invited everyone on the team to join the blog. I had to make sure I had the Google contact information for team members to facilitate the invitations from Blogger’s settings. Using academic email addresses would not have helped. I saw that Professor Morrow made her Gmail address available on the syllabus, so this facilitated inviting her to join the blog which then allows her to follow and be updated on our blog. Getting everyone’s Google Contact took a while, but we got all our team onboard.
I chose the name Library Techagogy as a play on pedagogy. I have discovered since then that I am not the first person to have though up the term, which is a common situation with portmanteau words.

I added a user profile per the assignment instructions.
I made some of the early, initial changes to the blog appearance (colors, fonts, etc) which have all since been changed by others.
Looking forward to actually writing substantive blog posts.
Jessica Tracy- Introduction Post and Initial Contributions to the Techagogy Blog
Hello!
Here are the changes I've made to the blog thus far:
1) I updated my profile, including my interests, About Me and Favorite Books fields.
2) I added the copyright information to the footer of the blog including the year, blog name and "all rights reserved" phrasing.
3) I added the Contact Us widget so those who visit our site can communicate any questions or problems to any of the admins. It was originally on the sidebar, but I agree the page flows better with it updated to the footer portion of the page.
4) I updated the search feature for the site with our own blog's name just to customize it a bit further.
Thank you to everyone for communicating and being so willing to answer questions. I really learned so much from interacting with each of you and the blog.

Per Shin's suggestions, I rearranged several of the gadgets in the side tool bar to improve reader access and visual appeal. I moved the "contact us," "follow by email," and "report abuse" gadgets to the footer. I rearranged the image, "archives" drop box, and search bars to better align visually with the top and to promote quicker access for readers. I deleted some redundant links that were already better situated in other toolbars.

Change to Theme
Good Evening
I made a change to the Theme. The old theme post format did not work well, so hopefully this one does

- 2/13/20 I changed the background to a textured background
- 2/18/20 I also changed some settings in the theme of our blog colors, texts, sizes of fonts, etc.
The videos I viewed in our modules helped but I actually set up a tester blog on my other Gmail account so i could play around with the different features that Blogger has to offer
